All about Jean Moulin, a Resistance hero
Another recommended visit: nearby the Hotel du Parc is this interesting museum. There, texts, documents and photos of the time of World War two are conserved and exposed, showing the life of these men, heroes of the Resistance, who have liberated Paris: Resistance network, mavericks and Partisans, members of the Free French Forces and of the interior (FTP, FFL and FFI) in August 1944.
Memorial museum of the Marshal Leclerc Fund
This memorial museum has been created thanks to a donation of the Marshal Leclerc Fund and the legacy of a friend of Jean Moulin. The films, the evidence and the documents show a parallelism in the actions of two resistance men. Figurehead of the “FFL”, Free French Forces, Marshal Leclerc received the redemption of the German occupant, on August 25 1944 at the former Montparnasse station.
